It Doesn't Matter How Your Story Begins

I finally got to see A Wrinkle in Time and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

In fact, there were several parts that I found myself tearing up. I could identify greatly with Meg, the protagonist, and how she didn’t think that much of herself. I think we have all been there.

At one point during the movie, Mrs. Which, played by the great Oprah Winfrey, says to Meg, “Do you realize how many events, choices, that had to occur since the birth of the universe leading up to the making of you? Just exactly the way you are.”

Who Do You Need to Forgive?

LaTisha’s Answer: I need to forgive myself for all of the times that my actions and my beliefs have not lined up. The truth of the matter is that it doesn’t matter what’s going on or how anyone else in my life is behaving -- I am always in control of my thoughts and actions. Five year old logic such as, “Well, he/she did this and that’s why I’m behaving the way I am” simply doesn’t fly.
