Today Lyric turns one year old.
Where has the time gone? Where is my little 6 lbs, 2 oz baby? My pregnancy was difficult and I ended up having a c-section after her heart rate dropped drastically two times during labor and delivery. My incision didn’t heal properly and post partum blues hit me hard. I lost hair and got Mommy’s thumb and I did not feel like a good mom at all. It has taken pretty much this entire year to feel somewhat normal in my body and my daily routine.
Yet here we are -- thriving and blooming in love, joy, and harmony.
When I think about the future, I get so hype. I’m a big believer in affirming the direction in which I want my life to go. As I mentioned in Monday’s post, I do believe that the Universe can take any situation, no matter how messed up or ugly, and create something amazing and beautiful from it. I shared this thought with ya’ll because it has given me a lot of peace lately. No matter what’s going on in my life, God is in control and he’s on my side. When you start thinking like that, it becomes a lot easier to speak life into your dreams and go after what you want.
The new story I am creating for myself is that I am a kick ass mamapreneur. I serve the world the best I can and I love my daughter the best way I know how. God does what I am unable to do. I am co-creating with the Universe. The story I tell myself is that God is using me to help people change their lives for the better and that he has given me this precious little girl to love, teach, and accompany on her journey. I wish I was a better writer so that I could really hammer home how grateful I am for this chapter in my life and all of the ones that came before it.
- I am the mother of this amazing little girl who is healthy, spunky, and her own little person.
- I am a business owner on a mission -- to help people take center stage in their lives.
- I am a lightworker because I remind people of their innate worthiness and brilliance.
- I am a friend and family member and I love my tribe so very hard and I am so grateful for them.
Every time I write or create content, I bless all of you. I bless you with the realization that you are just as precious to God as any other being in the world. I bless you with courage to face your fears and to overcome self-doubt. I bless you with love -- life-affirming, sustaining, encouraging, empowering love. I bless your circumstances and the understanding that everything that is happening to you is asking you to have faith, to believe in your worthiness no matter what, and to step into the highest version of yourself.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you so very much for rocking with me. I don’t take for granted the messages you send me. I love working with my clients and I love sharing what I know with you.
Now it’s your turn. Comment below and tell me what new story are you creating for yourself.
I’m cheering for you. Like you’re the next J.K. Rowling.
