Put Your Affirmations Front and Center

Happy Monday, HB!

It’s no secret that I love affirmations. What many of you may not know is that I have struggled with negative thinking pretty much my entire life. When Negative Nancy strikes, I turn into a pessimistic, aggressive and impatient version of myself. Even though I can’t stand this version of myself, I often feel powerless, like I can’t help myself.

Affirmations are a tool that I use whenever Negative Nancy tries to hi-jack my mind. When I recite my affirmations (out loud or in my mind), I am thinking on purpose instead of letting nasty autopilot thoughts run the show. I get to choose what it is that I actually want to think and how I want to decorate my mental home.

In today’s blog post, I share with you my #1 tip for making affirmations second nature. I even give you five ideas for making sure that they really soak into every cell of your being.

Before I forget -- from now on, I’ll be offering a free blog post transcript download (you don’t even have to leave your e-mail) so that you can save the blog post on your computer, tablet or phone and read it whenever you have the chance.

Here’s what the download button looks like:

In today’s blog post, I am also offering a free daily mantra planner printable. You can grab your copy HERE.

HB, if you knew how powerful your mind truly is, you’d never think another negative thought again. When you’re trying out a new way of life, you’re going to fall down, make mistakes and maybe even revert to old patterns. The key is to get back up. It’s not your mistakes that define you -- it’s how you bounce back from them. Always remember that.

Now it’s your turn. Read today’s blog post and leave a comment with your greatest takeaway. Don’t forget to save the PDF version of the post and to download your planner printable.

I’m cheering for you. Like you have covered your desk in affirmation post-its.
