I believe that self-love is the axis upon which both our inner and outer worlds spin.  

Every single thought, decision, behavior, attitude, belief and value is impacted by the way we love ourselves (or the way we don’t).  

I don’t think I really knew what self-love was before my daughter was born. I mean, I understood self-love from a theoretical standpoint. The ideas that I should love myself, treat myself with loving kindness, give myself my best chance … they all made sense to me.  

From the outside, I looked like I had everything going for me: a stellar education, a career that showed I could literally do anything I wanted and a charisma that helped me to attract everything I ever wanted into my life.  

However, I was hiding a dirty little secret: I didn’t really love myself.  

Too many times I had given my power away to: · men who could not and did not love me · bosses who did not respect me · companies that did not value me · ice cream that satisfied my craving for comfort (if for only a little while) · a dope outfit (that made me feel beautiful until I needed to buy another one to satisfy my desire to be desirable) · debt that I could not pay right away · negative self-talk that made me self-sabotage (even though I logically knew I shouldn’t)  

I spent 34 years of my life searching and experimenting (and mostly failing).  

The birth of my daughter brought me back to my own self-love.  

Now I'm going to share with you what I've learned.

Here’s what I’ll be teaching:


Day One: What is My Self-Love Story?

In the first installment of this video series, I allow myself to be vulnerable so that I can share my own self-love story. I'll tell you all about how I tried to make myself perfect and beautiful so that I would finally be lovable. I'll reveal how my own inner critic (who puts Regina George to shame) made me miserable for years. I'll then tell you what becoming a mom has taught me about self-love. 


Day Two: What is Self-Love?

On Day Two, I teach you the basic principles of self-love -- what it is, what it isn't and why it's been so hard for you to love yourself. We'll talk about your negative programming and how self-love doesn't make you narcissistic, selfish or weak. 


Day Three: Why is Self-Love Important?

Now that you know what self-love is, I'm going to share six powerful reasons why your self-love is important. We'll talk about how self-love is actually beneficial for your mental and physical health. I'll even let you know what Jesus has to say about self-love. We will also discuss the butterfly effect and how the way you love yourself impacts the way you interact with life. 


Day Four: Creating Your Own Self-Love Story

Now that you've learned about self-love and reflected on your own experience with it (or without it), it's time to intentionally craft your own self-love story. I teach you that it's okay to honor your past and the lessons you have learned AND that you don't have to be defined by your past any longer. You can choose a new way of being.
