You are a miracle worker.

Take a moment to honor yourself. Your body. Your baby.

YOU'RE NOW BEGINNING THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME WITH YOUR DECISION TO BREASTFEED.

I won't lie to you -- it's tough. There will be times when you want to give up. You'll worry that you're not providing enough milk for your baby. You'll judge the amount of milk you get from each pump session.

I want you to remember this: you got thru your pregnancy, labor, and delivery like the bad ass you are. Also, this is the first time you and your little are doing this.

Give yourself and your new baby the gift of your own compassion. Take it one latch, one session, one breath at a time.

Every time you breastfeed or pump, harness the power of thinking on purpose. Speak what you want into existence. Bless your beautiful baby and the bond you have with him/her. Bless your time together and bless your milk supply. Use your thoughts and your words wisely because they will become your reality.

Not sure where to begin? I got you, boo. Download the New Moms Rule Breastfeeding and Pumping Log, which includes 4 powerful mantras for you to recite as you nurse/pump.

Mama, you can do this. You are capable. You are strong. No matter how inadequate, unsure, or scared you may feel, YOU ARE ENOUGH. You have been given this little because he/she needs you. You are the world to this precious baby.

I honor you. I wish you success and lots of milk.

I am cheering for you. Like the miracle you are.

From the Front Row,

LaTisha
